I built a computer a few months ago, and noticed a rather annoying problem that began to randomly appear. Occasionally my computer would freeze, and I would lose complete control of mouse, keyboard, and sound. Video would still function, but it would begin to run much slower. Sometimes audio would remain, but it would sound really broken and harsh. After several minutes, if I didn't do a hard reset beforehand, a blue screen would appear, giving me a crash report. I attempted to re-install all my drivers, but it didn't seem to help, so I re-installed my OS, and the problem remains. The ONLY solution I've found is to use headphones rather than speakers. My headphones work perfectly fine, and the crash never occurs when sound runs through headphones, but I would like to project sound over speakers. I suspect therefore that I have a problem with audio drivers, but I haven't found a solution. Can anyone give me some advice?
My hardware is: Asus M5A97 R2.0 ATX AM3+ Motherboard AMD FX-6300 3.5GHz 6-Core Processor Corsair Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory Seagate 600 Series 240GB 2.5" Solid State Disk MSI Radeon R9 270 2GB TWIN FROZR Video Card Corsair Builder 430W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply TP-Link TL-WN881ND 802.11b/g/n PCI-Express x1 Wi-Fi Adapter
I'm using Windows 7 Ultimate 64x, and the default AMD drivers
TL;DR I believe my audio drivers are causing a crash, I've tried re-installing drivers and the OS, the problem remains.

Did you wipe your hard drive? If not, go under your local disk > Windows > Minidump and tell me if there are any files within that folder.
