My build
R9 270 Normal
FX 8320 Normal

Friends:
R9 270x (like 5% better) OC;ed
FX 8350 (like 5% better) OC'ed

Everything else same

He gets from 25% to 50% more fps on every game, for example in dirt 3 i get 70 while he gets 110

The is no way overclock did this there mus be something else?

What is the resolution? What is the game quality settings at? That is going to make a HUGE difference.

So would 500-1Ghz on the CPU and an R9-270X has more compute power then a R9-270, it isn't just clock frequency there.

OC'ed CPU and GPU will not double the performance like you are seeing.

I have a feeling your resolution or quality is better and that's why your FPS is lower.

You should both run a PC mark test and check your scores.

Its not that, its very comfusing...

For example DiRT 3 he gets 110 and i get 70 both on ultra same resolution, i tried to do on lowest possible graphics but same resolution and all i got is 110, this made me very sad

, this is pretty much for other games too, csgo, league of legends. he just gets more fps by 25% to 50%.

And I get some random lags, like playing league of legends v-synced (60fps max) and i still face drops to 40 from time to time when my old shitty card did not have that and on other games too some random drops or even when surfing in browsers, but when i watch on youtube, other people with same specs has similar fps, this makes no sense at all

Same ram amounts and drives?

Same OS version? Same graphics driver version? Same graphics driver settings? Same hard disks? Same RAM? Both GPUs at stock settings?

A PC is a very complex machine, you can't just compare two different builds based on two pieces of hardware.
