Games keep crashing and going to desktop without error. Help.

8 GB(1866) of Ram
AMD FX 8350
Rosewill Xtreme RX850 850 Watt PSU
Sapphire Radeon HD 7870 2GB


When playing games the screen will randomly go to black, sometimes it recovers and the game returns to normal only to do the same thing again later or it will just crash and go to the desktop without any error sign. It never crashes on the desktop. I made sure everything is connected right and checked my device manager to see if any of my parts were failing but none are. How can I find a solution to this problem?

Did you recently update your drivers? I have updated and had very similar issues and reverted and that fixed it. Try that. Try reverting back to the last known drivers that worked. If I am correct, you probably recently updated catalyst since they just released the update?

Also check your temps, might be overheating.

The problem is I just recently built this PC about two days ago. So I never was to experience any drivers that worked. What drivers should I go back to? I do have the most recent catalyst drivers.

EDIT: I check the temps on my parts and the max is 40C so it can't be overheating.

Ok. Check what catalyst drivers you have now (check in your program manager) and go back to the one before, i.e. if you have 14.6, try installing 14.5. I just did a system restore to before I updated and it fixed mine. Anyways, revert back a couple updates and if that doesn't work, let me know. Make sure you uninstall the later version when you revert though.
