Hi guys!
i've come across an issue, i just finished building my new gaming pc - so i bought a 256gb SSD for my OS.. which turned out great, got windows 7 up and running..
anyways, ive got an "old" 1 TB HDD, that has 149gb space left on it.. so i want to wipe it down (completely) and then use it as a secondary storage unit for everything except my OS.. (games, documents, pictures etc.)

I remember a friend telling me how to do it without software and CMD, something about removing the F; drive completely or something?
or atleast somehow deleting it..
as you might know by now, i don't know the actual details of the procedure.. so help would be greatly appriciated!

also, side topic;
Would "my idea" be possible? im fearing that the games would autoinstall via. the SSD and then fill it up in no time :'(

I believe you can go into Windows and go type in your search bar "Disk Management" and create and modify partions should come up. You can wipe your 1TB drive through there as I've done it to a family member's laptop once. When your installing game, you can usually choose where to install them and just specify the 1TB directory.

Format should do the trick as he stated.
