I just installed my new Asus Maximus 6 extreme and I want to run my graphics cards in sli on it. I got everything working except when i go to Nvidia control panel to activate sli it is not detecting my second card. The cards are titan blacks, i have a 1000w power supply, and I'm on windows 8.1. I've checked the sli bridge and it's fine, and the GTX logos on the side of the cards light up on both cards even though the second isn't detected so I know they're both receiving power. I've got the cards plugged into the first and third slots just like the manual says and when i go to the BIOS it shows that i have 2 cards plugged in. i've tried googling this but i can't find any information. Thanks in advance for any help.

Solution
Try uninstalling and reinstalling the Graphics Card Driver. Do a reboot between the Uninstall and Reinstall.

You could also try restarting your PC with the SLI Bridge removed. See if Device Manager is detecting both cards. If so, reinstall the SLI bridge and see if that solves the problem. Re-confirm that Device Manager can see both cards.
