Need help troubleshooting a new build

Just got all my components in for a new PC build, assembled everything, and now I'm getting just about every error I can think of; lots of blue screens, each with different error codes, freezing when installing new programs, windows update consistently failing, etc. I thought it was a software issue initially, some of the error codes pointed to bad drivers, tried updating those, tried reformatting four different times, still the same, so I moved on to troubleshooting hardware. So far I've ruled out the RAM, put it into another PC and no issues, put the RAM from that PC into this one and still failing. I've also ruled out the hard drive with through the same steps. I'm thinking it's the either the motherboard, or some compatibility issue that I overlooked, but I'm still sort of new at this and could use some help.

Thanks

9 times out of 10 this is because of your ram. being that you got pretty fast ram, make sure to set the timings, latency, and voltage properly in your bios. Before I started using performance ram this was not an issue, but once I moved to performance ram the settings makes a huge difference.

Here found your ram on newegg where it shows you these values on the production main page. Set your bios to match these settings and try again.

I would pull all ram and try with just 1 stick. If it still happens, test another stick in another slot. Just to make sure one of the slots on the MOBO is not bad.

Also, your ram is Speed DDR3-2133.
MOBO Memory Type DDR3-800 / 1066 / 1333 / 1600 / 1800 / 1866 / 2100
Can someone else chime in and tell if this could be a problem?

Power Supply: Rosewill Hive 550W 80+ Bronze Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply ($59.99 @ Amazon)
Total: $587.16

Not exactly a high end build. Go through Tom's checklist - http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/261145-31-perform-steps-posting-post-boot-video-problems - CAREFULLY!

If that doesn't fix your problems, then you'll have to start swapping out bits.

This may have been the issue, bios was set to 1600, 9, 9, something. Changed it and we'll see if it holds up. Going to be so happy if it was that simple
