I have the rosewill blackhawk case a gtx 660 and a fx 6300. right now i have two front fans, one top fan over the cpu, and one rear fan. my question is do i really need the top fan? I don't want to take it out because i tied my zip ties pretty tight and i'm afraid i'll cut the cpu wire. are two front fans and one rear fan good enough to keep my hardware at decent temps?

The top fan needs to be an exhaust not an intake. Make sure it is an exhaust.

Yes the front and rear fans are plenty.

It also depends on the ambient temp of the room, if your room is cool (Around 20-23 Celsius) the system will be cool, if your room is warm the system will be warm, and also keep top fan, it helps to move warm air faster as warm air rises. your current config should give you decent temps in the 30 degrees Celsius mark.

well; you have 2 exhaust fans, and no intake? the key to good airflow is to have a possitive pressure. now you're basicly 'pulling the case vacuum'. so maybe you can change the topfan into a frontfan as intake?

edit: did not read well. didnt notice he had intake fans in front.

so yes, that setup will do.

Yes correct. You can ditch the top fan.
