Hello all, yesterday i asked about why my idle temps were running at 40 to 50 whopping celsius in 20 celsius ambient temp (which i got fixed, thanks to MeteorsRaining for helping me by the way!)

Now i have somewhat of a dilemma, so when i go into BIOS and go into the monitor section in there, it tells me the temps are 25C - 26C. Now when i go into windows and open up for HWMonitor it tells me it idles at 35C (i'm sure that's good) but now i get confused, because AI Suite II (which followed on my driver disc for my ASUS motherboard) tells me that it's running on 25C to 26C like the BIOS.

While HWMonitor can monitor all the cores seperately and AI Suite can only monitor all 4 cores as one i get a bit confused. Which numbers are trustworthy?

Asus does not measure Core temps but "package temps" which is an average of various sensors..... you are looking at two different things. Forget both .... move up to the 'big boy tool" :) and d/l HWiNFO64

And never use two at the same time
