My system:
processor: i5-3570k @3.40 GHz
GPU: two GTX 650 Ti BOOST
Ram: 16 GB
Motherboard: P8Z77-V LK
The issue:
The setup was meant to work SLI, after a year I have noticed that my system isn't actually using the SLI function. I investigate....I find out my computer is only detecting a single graphics card. I check that the power is connected to each card (the cards are spinning, yes the power is connected). I check that both graphics cards are working by switching them to the working PCIe slot, both are working. I go into the BIOS and in advanced settings i see that in the first PCIEX16_1 link speed it is at auto and has "x16" above it, while PCIEX16_2 is also at "auto" but has "not present" above it. It appears this has something to do with the motherboard, any suggestions?
