okay so its been about 3months since i built it maybe a little longer works perfectly for me
idles around 30-43C depending on my bedroom temp

and gaming with 3 games on ultra all at once temp is around 49-57 fluctuates alot

now my main issues are
when unzipping a file like 8+ GB it takes like 50 min... is that normal for this CPU or no?

second issue is
when my CPU usage is about 80% or higher my screen starts to freeze up and my mouse lags like all hell i wait about 2 min it goes away

and last is
when opening certain games in full screen it auto minimizes the game to task bar weird... and kinda annoying

now these are very small issues and i can live with them

i would how ever prefer not to

any advice or help is much appreciated
-thanks in advanced xD

Holy hell, don't spend money on a 1000W cpu. Unless you intend to go with three r9 290x's and an amd fx9590 (whyever you would want to downgrade lol). For dual sli nvidias and an intel xeon, 750-850w is more than enough.
Quality goes over quantity, take a look at the 'Psu Tier List' (google it, first match) and take choices on that.

For memtest, you don't run that while in windows. You put it on a usb stick and boot over that.

As for the mobo, it should be fine. The xeon isn't picky with them at all. It would surely not hurt to update your bios, though?

thanks for the fast reply

oh sorry thought i typed my spec welt here they are
Equipment: Case-Rosewill BLACKHAWK MID/ will be the corsair 900 D soon/
Motherboard:Gigabyte-GA-B85-HD3
CPU-Intel xeon 1230v3
Cooler-cooler master hyper 212 evo
PSU-EVGA SuperNOVA NEX 750 B

RAM-Kingston HyperX 16 GB
(4x4GB)- @1600 MHZ
CAS# Latency (CL) 11 clocks
RAS# to CAS# Delay (tRCD) 11 clocks
RAS# Precharge (tRP) 11 clocks
Cycle Time (tRAS) 28 clocks

GPU- Evga GTX 760 4 GB
SSD-120 GB Samsung 840 pro- for OS
& 5 Other Hard Drives
2-1 TB
1-4 TB
2-80 GB 10K RPM

anyway 16 GB should be more then enough no?

is my CPU to hot
max for this CPU can handle is 100C so people say and what core temp says as well as other programs
and my max temp with prime 95 and or Intel burn test left on for 5 hours is only 76C max on 1 core others were at 69-73C
and Intel burn test said i was perfectly stable

but thats @ 100% usage so....\ and i have the hyper 212 evo CPU cooler

and gaming with 3 games on ultra all at once temp is around 49-57C fluctuates a lot like i said
only about 35-48% CPU usage with web browsing and more

If IBT and Prime95 are both stable with temperatures being in safe range, the problem you're experiencing doesn't seem to be hardware related. You could possibly check your ram with memtest, but the pc would rather crash with bad ram.
How about doing a clean install of windows?

Edit: However, there might be a small chance either your psu or motherboard can't steadily deliver enough power. I have not heard of that psu before and b85 boards are usually good, but there might be a slim chance.

Edit 2: Whats your gpu? If you're running three games at once, you better have two 980 gtx's. If you're experiencing slow responses while doing too many things, thats normal. With 2 gpu's the psu won't be enough, btw.

gpu is a gtx 760 4gb acx cooling
it runs fine 3 games on utlra run perfect no lag or anything just an example of how good this pc is i lucked out

as for psu i will be getting a full modular 1000 watt with slim cables not bulky will be getting another gtx 760 2 gb tho unless i have to get a 4 in any case

could this be ram i did get a blue screen last night from going to speed test.com and clicking that green play button weird never happed before but i had 60% ram usage

and if i run memtest and get a blue screen will it corrupt my OS i do not want to lose the data i have ATM

also i will do a fresh install when i can

as for mobo and ram can you recommend one taht this cpu works with i read that this cpu is picky with mobos

as for ram 1600 mhz is my max and and need enough clearance for my hyper 212 evo and i will be getting 32 Gb at some point any for my servers
