There seems to be something in front of the graphics card that would limit the amount of space for the R9 270x. If it's removable, you could probably fit it in. Measure your case to be sure since the Gigabyte R9 270x is 297mms long. I have one myself and it's big :p

Are you talking about the black plastic thing on the right side of the graphics card? cause what that does is it just goes over top of the graphics card, keeps it in position better but yes that is removable

Yeah I'm talking about that black plasic thingy. Just to be certain, remove that part and measure and see if you at least 312mm of space.

Wait are you sure the Gigabyte R9 270x is 3 mm shorter than a 30cm ruler? cause that's very long, the distance between the left side of my case to my two HHD's is 26cm? does that mean it wont fit

Yes I'm positive, here's the specifications from the card's manufacturer : http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=...
I got one too and it's big.

If you can remove those drive cages, then it'll fit if you have at least 297mm (let's round it off to 30cm). And yeah the Windforce cooler makes it one of the longer cards like the Sapphire Toxic. You can always go for a different manufacturer to get a smaller card.

I would move them but then where would i put my two hard drives if i have to move them? sorry if that sounds like a stupid question, the Gigabyte graphics card just seems like the best choice for the money at the moment

That's the thing, your case doesn't have any other hard drive bays where you can put them?

No i do not sadly, Its a Dell case so you cant expect anything good or extra from it. So what other brand should i get instead of Gigabyte? like Saphire, MSI, AMD etc?
That does suck though i really wanted a gigabyte one
