So recently I bought Battlefeild 4. I like to play it on ultra with anti-aliasing and ambient occlusion off. Yet with them all off I only get about 50 FPS which is really odd.I got a custom CFG file which I am surprised I needed with this in it to boost the game:

PerfOverlay.DrawFps 0
RenderDevice.VsyncEnable 0
RenderDevice.ForceRenderAheadLimit 0
RenderDevice.TripleBufferingEnable 0
RenderDevice.Dx11Enable 0
RenderDevice.Dx11Dot1Enable 0
RenderDevice.Dx11Dot1RuntimeEnable 0
GameTime.MaxVariableFps 75
PostProcess.DynamicAOEnable 0
WorldRender.MotionBlurEnable 0
WorldRender.SpotLightShadowmapEnable 0
WorldRender.SpotLightShadowmapResolution 1
WorldRender.TransparencyShadowmapsEnable 0
WorldRender.LightTileCsPathEnable 0

Now whenever I play a game, even only TDM I get around 75 fps and it drops to around 50 or even 48. I dont get it because others in videos with the exact same GPU can get in the hundreds.

PC SPECS:
EVGA GTX 760 2GB
AMD FX-6300
8 GB RAM
WINDOWS 7
1 TB HDD

I have tried:
Unparking CPU
Installing custom CFG
Turning off Anti-aliasing
Restarting PC Multiple Times

BF4 on multiplayer is CPU intensive.

Yes but the 6300 should be just fine to run it as well paired with the 760

Youtube is NOT to be trusted for specs and estimated FPS reading. When will people realize this.

As for your specific question, that seems about right to me. My 760 can pull about 60 on high on BF3, so BF4 is a bit more demanding, and you are trying to run ultra. There is nothing wrong here, upgrade the processor and GPU if you want better frames. The 6300 is weak in terms of single threaded performance, thats why my 965 can hold its own in modern games.

On Ultra I would say it's questionable. I can run it just fine with no issues. What do you end up on high settings?

As for the youtube videos I'm really getting tired of people showing me those. In a different thread someone tried to convince me the G3258 can run BF4 on Ultra in multiplayer. They had video but no way that was happening.

I agree. Yet I still think yours should pull way more because for BF3 I pull around 75-110 FPS On Ultra. The unfortunate thing about most AMD CPU's is that in fact the single cores are weak so they substitute in for adding more. I am just really surprised that I am finally getting over 60 FPS on this game with all the tweaks I have done. Probably gonna stick to a High/medium mixture of settings and see the outcome

Im beginning to question where you are reading these numbers from...
With a 4770k and a 760 HAWK it only pulls ~78FPS on ultra. http://tpucdn.com/reviews/MSI/GTX_760_HAWK/images/bf3_1...

Regardless, AMD is aimed at providing mid range performance at entry level costs, hence their majority hold in the APU market.

If you think a 760 can average 60FPS for Battlefield 4 on Ultra at 1920x1080, then you're naïve.

http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/nvidia-geforce-gtx-...

This is based on single player, so expect even less on multiplayer due to the higher CPU usage and higher variability in demand.
