I have been running a duel monitor setup for the last couple of weeks with one 144hz acer monitor and one 60hz acer monitor. I have been able to have one running at 144 while the other runs at 60, but since I changed my resolution yesterday, I am unable to access the 144hz option. When I go to properties and select the screen refresh rate, 60hz is the most I can select.
I have been connecting both monitors to my R9 295x2 using a duel-link dvi and a duel-link to mini display port connector. I believe these cables should be able to display 144hz since it has worked up to now. If anyone is able to help me I would greatly appreciate it.

What resolutions before and after were you set at. If you revert to the old resolution does the 144hz option return? The monitor may not be capable of that refresh rate at the higher resolution when it's connected to multiple displays. I'm not sure of that, it's just a thought.

Also, whats the model number of you card and both monitors?

I was running at 1920 x 1080 on both displays then I created an eyefinity group making a 3840 x 1080 resolution. It was when I changed it back to extended display duel 1920 x 1080 that I couldn't access the 144hz refresh rate.

My monitors:
Acer GN246HL Black 24" 144hz
Acer G246HLAbd Black 24" 60hz

GPU:
MSI R9 295X2 8GD5 Radeon R9 295x2 8GB
