Cannot open any games while running on integrated graphics.

I recently had my GTX 780Ti stolen from out of my computer. Huge bummer. Luckily, they didn't damage any other components as far as I can tell. I borrowed a friend's video card in order to access my Bios and switch over to integrated graphics so that I can use my computer in the mean time before I get a new GPU. My PC has been running fine for a week and a half or so now post-robbery without a GPU installed.

However, I am unable to open ANY games on Steam, even tiny, non-demanding indie games that my 4670K with Intel HD 4600 graphics should have no problem running. The only game I've gotten to work on Origin is "Peggle." I'm getting a multitude of error messages when I try to open my games, ranging from "Your video card does not support alpha bending with floating point render targets...." to "Please verify that your system meets the minimum requirements. Unable to initialize video card." to "Error during initialization." Some of the .exe's even stay open in the background until I manually end the process on task manager.

I've tried everything I can think of. I've restarted steam and my computer, I've uninstalled all of my NVIDIA graphics card drivers, I've un-installed and re-installed games, and still nothing. I am at a loss. Please help me!

Here's my build:
OS: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit
CPU: Intel Core i5 4670K Quad-Core OC @ 4.4Ghz
CPU Cooler: Corsair Hydro Series H100i
GPU: none currently
RAM: Intel Patriot Extreme 2x4GB DDR3
MOBO: Gigabyte Z87X-UD3H
HDD: Western Digital 500GB 7200RPM
SSD: Samsung 840 Evo 120GB
PSU: XFX Pro Gold 750W Full Modular

Your errors is solving your problems. "Please verify that your system meets the minimum requirements" is enough to know the 4600 cannot run those games. The HD4600 is not meant for games therefor it won't run any demanding ones even if they same light to you :)

I appreciate your reply, but that is definitely NOT the issue here. I'm opening ridiculously undemanding games like Rogue Legacy as well as Source engine games that I know FOR A FACT work on older i3 integrated graphics systems, such as Team Fortress 2 and Left 4 Dead 2, so they should have no problem running on my new i5's integrated graphics. Those Source games won't even open, and don't show an error message. L4D2's .exe just keeps running in the background. What is going on?

I just installed the latest Intel Iris drivers and it appears that was the problem. I feel like an idiot for not thinking to do something that simple! Guess I just assumed I did that when I originally bought the CPU. I was overthinking it. Thank you!
