I recently put this pc together. Specs as follows:

CM HAF 912
GA 990fxa-ud3 Rev3
AMD FX8350 w/ CM Hyper 212 Evo @ 4.4ghz
Crossfire ATI 6970's
2x4GB Ripjaw X PC3-14900 1866 MHz
1TB WD Blue HDD
EVGA 850 B2 PSU
Windows 7 Ultimate Service Pack 1

My issue is I can't for the life of me to get this ram to run in dual channel. The user manual says to put the ram in DDR3_1 and DDR_2 spots to enable dual channel. Now when I do this, windows says 8gb of ram (3.98 usable). CPUZ is only showing single channel in this configuration. It's set to XMP profile 2 which has the timings and voltage spot on and runs at the 1866 it's supposed to. So I was playing around with it and put both stick in channel A (DDR3_4 and DDR3_2). When they are setup like this windows will actually say all 8gb is usable but this is a single channel configuration. I just need some help getting these in dual channel. I've also tried DDR3_4 and DDR3_3 which would also be dual channel. But it still reports as single channel in CPUZ and 8gb(3.98 usable) in windows like this. Bios is up to date as well. Thanks in advance!

I'll try that now. Also I did some troubleshooting this morning. Either stick will boot perfectly fine in either Channel A spot. But neither stick by ittself will boot the pc from either of the Channel B spots. The monitor doesn't even get signal. Both sticks in both Channel B spots also won't boot. How likely is it that both of my Channel B spots are faulty? If I put one in Channel A and one in Channel B and boot, windows will see the ram in the Channel B spot but says it's not usable. CPUZ also will detect it and so will the bios.

Edit: I upped the NB core (I'm assuming that's the CPU/NB voltage) to the +0.07 you recommended and there was no change.

Well guys I fixed it. I remembered the AMD chips have a built in memory controller. So I pulled my cpu and what do you know, 5 bent pins lol. So I busted out the magnifying glass and a pair of tweazers and 15 minutes later I'm booted up running in dual channel! Thanks for the suggestions guys.

Well I spoke too soon guys. I was watching a youtube video when suddenly everything froze. Rebooted it and as soon as it would get to the desktop it would freeze or reboot no matter what I tried. Put both sticks in channel A and boom it starts up and runs just fine. So now anytime either stick was in Channel B it wouldn't even boot anymore. So I removed the cpu once again but couldn't find any bent pins. Put it back together and put the ram in dual channel configuration and I could get into windows without crashes again but now I'm back to where I started. Reads in single channel and windows says only 4gb usable out of 8gb. This is becoming very frustrating.

I Popped my buddies ram in dual channel and it eventually crashed. So I ruled out my ram. He brought his 8350 cpu over and I'm trying it now. If it still crashes it has to be the motherboard right?

Not with compressed air but I blew them out the best I could. I mean it's a brand new board so there shouldn't be much stuff in there anyways. I've contacted the seller about it and told him what I've tested so hopefully I get a replacement board. If not I'll just upgrade to the Asus Sabertooth. I've always used Asus until now and I'm regretting now getting the Sabertooth to begin with.
