Will this PSU work with this system? ... And Improve performance?

I currently have a 400w Logysis PSU I am looking to upgrade to this > http://
I would like to know if its compatible with the following and if it will show any performance differance.

MOBO- Biostar A55ML2
CPU- AMD A8 5600k
GPU- GTX 750
Memory- 6gb DDR3 1333Mhz (1 4gb, 1 2 gb)
Windows- Win 7
HDD- 150GB (I HAVE A 800GB I WANT TO INSTALL ALONG SIDE, THATS WHY I WANT TO UPGRADE THE PSU)

You will see no performance difference. Computer components draw the amount of power they need and that's all. The power supply, as long as it's capable of powering those components will not make a difference at all to performance. Hard drives use 8 watts at full load. Certainly nothing to upgrade a power supply for.

That being said I'm still going to tell you it would be a good idea to upgrade just for the sake of quality. I wouldn't trust anything with the Logysis name on it to power a toaster much less a computer. The EVGA listed above is a superior unit in every way.

finally lol... so do you think I could use both my hard drives at once with the logysis until I get paid next friday? I have tried using it before, but it SEEMED to slow down my PC a little bit, like stuff would take longer to load (off of my already usable drive)

No if it was slowing down I would guess another problem like maybe not enough free space on the drive over a power supply being stressed by adding a single drive. That 8 watts is for a performance drive like a Seagate Barracuda or WD Black as well, storage grade drives use less and 'Green" drives use even less.

You should be fine with what you have unless there is a noticeable difference. If there is try unplugging the new drive to make sure that's the problem.

I would upgrade the power supply though. See here:

well the 800 gb hdd i want to hook up I used to use on a intel system, it was the 2nd drive in this sytem (not containing windows) so could I just hook that up along side my 150gb on the logysis til next friday with no performance loss?

Listen to anort3. Folks get made into Mods for a reason, they're experienced and they have no reason to give you faulty information or recommendations. At least most of them, let's say 99%. In this case, it's exactly right. Logisys makes crap components. Period. EVGA makes ok, good and great components. And the EVGA listed is a much better unit. If you DID have issues running two drives on a particular PSU, which you shouldn't, ever, it wouldn't be because it's underpowered. It would be due to the fact that it was faulty, in which case you would probably notice the issue elsewhere first, or that it was just a really, really poor unit to start with, in which case again, the problem would probably show up as something other than a drive issue. Or, perhaps you actually have an issue with the hard drive.

Get a good PSU and then run Seatools for windows on all drives to make sure there are no issues with the drives themselves.

Hmmmm that's interesting. Define 'low grade malware' :) If it's infested you sure don't want to give it access to your C drive.

like when I plugged it in before it put some extensions in google chrome that were maleware like AdSave, and a cpl other ones.
Basically stuffs that plays ads in the background of my browser and pop up with ads on any webpage.

Well, that'll definitely slow things down. In some cases it'll actually cause things to grind to a complete halt. You need to get all infections off your system before you can even think about whether or not you have a hardware problem and how to solve it.

How can i clean out the hdd without it hooked up?

Hi as anort said above, a psu won't increase sys performance unless the current one doesn't have
sufficient power to begin with.
More importantly, switching to a Raidmax PSU is not an upgrade.
Raidmax PSU's are the bottom of the barrell quality wise
