I was asking and wondering about this and actually need a good and positive answer back is that I just bought a 8GB 2x4 kit HyperX Fury blue rams 3 weeks ago and was thinking of getting another 8GB 2x4 HyperX fury blue ram kit to get 16GB for editing, is this ok or will it cause some failures or something else? I'm worried that it won't work well or even worse.

More about : adding 8gb 2x4 16gb

assuming the next mem kit you buy has the same memclock/spd/voltage as the initial mem kit, and also assuming you dont happen to get a random faulty stick of ram, then yes it will work fine.

if you want more ram, add another hyperx kit like what you have. if theres an issue with system stability (it sometimes happens) its no big deal. we can help you troubleshoot any issues. just make sure your mobo can handle 4x8gb first..

even worst case scenario, theres a DOA stick in the new kit no damage will come to your otherhardware. the system would simply crash or not boot

Totally unsure, the general rule with DRAM is mixing sets can be and often is problematic....but unlike most all sticks, the Fury line is based on PnP rather than XMP, it's suppose to just be plug and play - don't know if Kingston will guarantee mixing sets or not, the DRAM manufacturers won't on XMP based sticks....might send a PM to KingstonHQ that's their rep here in the forums and ask, and if you do let us know what they say

Hi, I'm Jewel with Kingston Technical Support. Since your motherboard is dual channel, as long as the memory kits are the same model and each pair is installed in the paired slots there should be no issue.

Thanks for choosing HyperX :)
