I was concerned when WB announced you will need a 6gb GPU to run SoM at optimum, concerned PC users were getting another shoddy console port. Not expecting an awful lot due to their recommendations I installed the Texture packs, ramped the settings up to maximum and here are the results using the SoM Benchmarker. I ran 6 tests and took the average, my result varied from 62fps to 81fps;

The game is a solid port and I put the setting requirements down to a WB safety net or a feeble attempt to up-sale hardware, (probably the latter).

R9 200 series with 3072MB; I'm assuming that's a 280x ASUS DCUII OC?
I think you got things wrong however... They stated you would need 6GB in RAM, not VRAM (or at least that's what I've understood). If it was 6GB VRAM it would've been one huge worldwide flop...

In any case, indeed looks like a solid port, if I got the GPU right...did a miracle really just happen?! :D

Interesting, thank you for posting.

So did you notice any significant stutter during gameplay?

Bah, seeing these benchmarks IDK what I should do anymore...
Buy it for PS4 (Since I only own TLoU:HD and Destiny) or go for the extra length and get the PC version?

I was shocked to see those requirements when they were announced but have since played the game on my own computer and idk what the hullabaloo was about. I've got a 3gb GTX 780 with an old AMD cpu (I don't remember what it is, it's that old) and my benchmark averaged 70-80 fps on full ultra video settings (only thing unmaxed/unchecked was motion blur).
