Today McAfee found a virus called AdWare-bprotect on my PC. I told it to remove the virus (3 dll files with names along the lines of Performance Optimizer). It failed, and so I navigated over to the folder the malicious files where in and tried to delete them. It didn't work, saying "This folder cannot be deleted as it is open in another program" (You know what error I mean). I used Malwarebytes to delete any registries it had added. I cannot find a process in Task Manager called PerfOpti.exe as many guides have said to do. I have not noticed any effect on my PC with this virus, but it worries me as something might happen in the future. Can someone please help me?

Thanks in advance, Gutawer.
