Hello,

So i recently delided my i5 4670k and it went quite well. im no novice when it comes to computers..however this is one problem i cant wrap my head around. im guessing either the mobo somehow got fried or the processor died in the process. figured id send it over to you guys first before calling a lost cause. anways..i delided it, replaced the die paste with ceramique, popped the IHS back on it, then put some AS5 on the IHS followed by the heatsink. put it back together like i normally would and went to turn it on, this is what it does:

Why would u do that in first place when you dont even have an aftermarket cooler... really im sory but u probably damaged the proccesor becuase if it was fine before the process then its obvious it is the CPU.

you could have spent £30 on a nice cooler instead you broke a £150 processor trying to do something that would give you a couple degrees c less heat +1
