Just recently bought a new CPU namely A8-6600k.

Haven't even overclocked it yet and my temperature is soaring through the roof. Currently my system as 2 case fans, Also i'm using stock CPU fan.

Case Fan 1 = Air intake aimed at CPU Heatsink (to maximaze heatsink airflow)
Case fan 2 = Exhaust aimed at CPU fan to suck air out.

These were taken using speccy, and all i was doing was playing Dota 2

Tried, it. It seems like it can't detect my cores as the "SELECT CPU" is grayed out and all the CPU cores on my task bar are rated 0°C

Recently this happened with me. A few weeks ago my i3 got up to 100C and I ended up finding that something was wrong with the connection to the stock fan. I took it out cleaned of the old thermal paste and put on some new and my problem was fixed. So if you can't find another answer you may have to do what I did.
