i just want to hear your opinion about putting my 32 inch tv as my monitor on my desk, i feel like its too large when i am sitting because im about a meter away from it. i was using this tv on a tv table and play on console setting on a chair, but now i feel like i am too close to it. what do you guys think, will it effect my vision if i used it any longer from this distance?

I use a 24" Monitor at a distance of Half a meter :) You'll get used to it but your eyes will strain probably and might cause you to get glasses :p But it should be no problem at one meter IMO its all about your preferences though

Even a cheap PC monitor would be a better choice than using your TV on your desk. The eye strain would be really bothersome and everything would look horrible anyway as 1080 (I presume that's your TV resolution) on a 32" looks too grainy. TVs are not meant to replace PC monitors. You might get away with using it for some games but anything else.. just don't bother.
