Hi there.
I have an i7-4790k armed with an Cooler Master 280l water cooler. My idle temps 30-31c and my load temps are 60-61. To me those temps sound a little odd. In all the reviews and tests of the 280l the idle temps on idle are 27-28 and load 58c. The load temps to me seam ok, but if you ask me 31 for idle sounds a bit high, especially since i dont have an graphics card in, I use mx-4 thermal paste which is best of the best and I have air 540 which has excelent ventilation. Also when i cranck up my fans to 100% idle temps only fall to 29-30c which still isnt as low in all the reviews. One final not is that i didnt overclock it and always test it on 4.0 ghz. Does this seem a bit od to you? I know that 3 degree diference wont kill me, but I wonder em I doing it all alright. Any suggestions?

You're absolutely fine, the room temps matter a lot, and no CPU cooler can take you lower than your room temps, even if your room temp is 1C higher than the benchmarking setup, it creates a difference. But, right now, no matter how low the room temps, your temps are great, without doubts, you certainly don't need to worry.
