I've had my custom PC for over a year now without any problems. I just got back after being away from home for a week and when I press the power button it turns on, then turns off, and repeats every 2-6 seconds. All fans are working,
I removed my ram and when I do so it restarts again after about 30-60 seconds and then stays on but nothing is showing on my monitor during this time.

Specs in case they help:
mobo: msi z87-g41
CPU: i5 4670k
GPU: gtx 760
RAM: corsair 4gb ddr3 1600mhz (CMV4GX3M1A1600C11)

Any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks.

EDIT: Solved by reedo_43 - Most likely a PSU problem.

let's hope it's the RAM Sticks and not the socket themselves, do you have any 2Gb RAM to test on your PC? also if your RAM is 2x2 take out one stick and try with the other one

Was the CPU overclocked?

It's just one 4gb stick.
I have a 2gb stick of ddr2. Is that compatible?

The CPU is not overclocked.

More than likely your PSU. Do you have another to test?

I don't have another PSU to test but your suggestion made me think that the PSU might not be providing enough power so I removed the graphics card to reduce the power draw a good chunk and put the ram back in and it switches on and stays on. Still not getting anything on the display though.

Does that help at all?

Scratch what I said about the display. Display is now working when plugged into motherboard.
Computer is working as normal when the graphics card is unplugged.

What do you suggest I test or look for to see if the power supply is at fault?

Like I said before, it is probably your PSU. Not much to test for unfortunately.
