Hi all,
I hope you can help. I have a Cisco SG300-10MP managed switch that has been working well on my very small stand alone LAN. This LAN is not connected to the internet. All of the IP addresses are in the 192.168.1.? range. The clients are set up to receive their IP addresses via the DHCP server in the switch. I have added an Engenius ENH700EXT WAP to the system. It also gets it's IP address via the switch. I can see everything on the network including the WAP when I have plugged a Cat5e cable from my computer right into the switch. However, when I log in via the WAP, I can't see the switch and some of the other nodes. For example a digital audio mixer that I usually control wirelessly shows up and then disappears every few seconds. I'm not sure if I should have the subnet mask of 255.255.255.0 on all of the computers or what my Gateway setting should be, if any, on the devices. I also wonder if it is another setting on the switch. Any help will be appreciated
