I'm upgrading from my E8400, and i would like to know which CPU would not botleneck my R7 265.
These options would be good?
i5-4430 , i5-4690K.

The motherboad should be the minimum: One PCIx16, 4 slots DDR3, 4 SATA, using only 3 USB now, no sound card.
I would like to spend more on the CPU and less on the mobo.

Current Config:
Core 2 Duo E8400
R7 265 2GB
X48T-DQ6
4GB DDR3

Neither of those CPU's should bottleneck a 265.

As for which one to get, it really depends what your budget is. The price difference is about $50 (If you live in the US and near a Microcenter, you can get the 4690K for $199, which is $10 more than the 4430 and you could also bundle a motherboard for another $40 discount), but if you're not going to...

The difference is mostly just clock speed and thermals (DC has improved thermals), plus the 4690K has an unlocked multiplier.

Take a look at the Asus Z97 A for a good board. It isn't very expensive ($140) and is a nice board. There are cheaper ones, though. Take a look at Newegg and read some reviews.
