EDIT: Reinstalled OS, all problems below have happened after the reinstall.

Current problems:
1. Black boxes appearing for a second when expanding a chain of comments in Youtube. Picture:
http://i.imgur.com/NxZCILf.png
Update: Definetly not a flash issue since it persists when flash is uninstalled.
2. Sometimes when going back to Google search result page results in a blank page.
3. Sometimes when going back to a Youtube page, nothing happens. If I move the cursor over the page, the yoube page starts to render over the other. Looks really buggy. Trying to get an image.
4. When clicking on the date and clock in the bottom right corner to bring up the calender, you can see the desktop background for a split second before it comes up.
5. The computer wakes up after 5 mins when the monitors have gone to sleep.

Problems that I've had:
1. Screen tearing in the Windows 8 start menu. Happened when I opened it for the first time after reinstalling OS. Defective motherboard?
Went away when I installed GPU drivers.
2. When I installed a program, when I chose where to install it and shrunk the little menu, this weird texture always happened:

3. Google once didn't load the results of a page.
4. Computer froze two times when I tried to go into BIOS.
5. Couldn't install Realtek Network drivers, "The realtek network controller was not found".

Solved problems:
1. Flash player is skipping a second when playing video.
I have tried: disabling hardware acceleration
SOLVED: Seems to be a flash issue with Windows 8.1 and i7:

2. When disabling hardware acceleration, the Youtube player buttons "floats" on my second monitor. Picture:

SOLVED: Flash issue as well...

So yeah a lot of problems... What have I done wrong? :(

Specs:
Windows 8
i7
GTX770
Z97-A

Using Firefox
Dual monitors
No overclock
Ran Furmark 10 min, Max temp 79C, FPS 42.

Please tell me if you need any more info.
Thanks for the help!

I noticed that some red lights were blinking on the mobo when it was turned on. Not sure what it could mean?

Thanks for the reply!
I've got a XFX Pro Semi Modular 850w for upgrading purposes. I've read that it's one of the best PSU brands there is, so it should be enough by far.

It will be kind of hard to take a picture of them as one only show up for a split second, but I will see what I can do.
Oh, and there is an yellow light next on the ethernet connection that seems to be turned on at all times, even when the computer is off...

Not sure if this is related, but when I was playing Minecraft I got an error from the Nvidia OpenGL drivers:

"The NVIDIA OpenGL driver detected a problem with the display driver and is unable to continue. The application must close.
Error code: 9
Would you like to visit http://www.nvidia.com/page/support.html for help?"

Any ideas?

Those are the POST lights. It is normal for them to blink at startup. As long a (red) light doesn't stay on, it means everything has passed POST.

The first picture is the CPU light, the second is for the RAM and the last is for the graphics card.

What drivers are you using? Did you uninstall your previous drivers? And if so, how did you do it?

Ah I see...

I'm using the latest drivers of course. When I uninstall drivers I go into the device manager, right click on the GPU and uninstall. I also check the uninstall drivers mark.
Actually I should do this again, because I'm not sure if I did this with the new PC...

So this is still happening, currently checking for Hearthstone problems...

So these little black squares showed up today when loading chains of comments on Youtube:

Happens on both monitors.
Again, no idea if it's relevant to the GPU failing or just a bug...
Haven't seen any Hearthstone problems yet but haven't played that much...

Flash player is still freezing for a few seconds sometimes.
The black squares seem to be fixed after reinstalling Firefox.

However, today when I started Firefox, I noticed some more things:
When I try to watch a Youtube video, the red line at the top doesn't load fully.
This leads into problems like comments not loading, YT window not resizing when clicking the button and the browser not going to the previous page when clicking the back button. The scrolling in FF is also really strange, like it's distorting the page...

Only happening in Firefox.

I have tried:
Reinstalling Firefox multiple times
Clearing cache and cookies multiple times

Now, the Hearthstone problems seems to be fixed, still haven't played much.
Nvidia error code 9 still happening

Thanks.

You sure there isn't anything else to try first? I might do it this weekend...

I'm downloading drivers for the motherboard right now to install later on the wiped PC. My question is what drivers to get?
There are: SATA, LAN, Chipset, BIOS, BIOS-Utilities, AUDIO, VGA, Hotfix and Utilities. Which ones are necessary for Windows 8.1 64-bit?

So I've come to the conclusion that my GPU is probably defective... I have noticed graphical glitches in more games than just Hearthstone, like Arma III and Civ5. Even the Steam client flickers black sometimes... And Firefox of course. Still waiting on what drivers to download though.

The reinstall went fine. Problem I noticed without any drivers installed: screentearing when scrolling in the W8 start screen, flickering text when moving the marker and the computer freezing when I tried to go into the BIOS.
Installed chipset, realtek audio and raid drivers.
Pc froze again when trying to go into BIOS.
Could not install intel graphics driver: computer does not fill the minimum requirements.
Nvidia GPU install went fine and the screen tearing went away.

Here's my big problem: can't install realtek ethernet driver. "The realtek network controller was not found. If deep sleep mode is enabled please plug the cable." So now I'm stuck with no internet... Any ideas?
EDIT: I inserted the Cd that came with the mobo and installed the intel LAN drivers. Internet connection seems to be working now... Don't know if I need realtek internet controller? I still get the problem when trying to install the drivers for it.

Sorry for any typos, wrote from my phone...

Also, a problem I had before is here again. When I leave the computer and the monitors go to sleep, after maybe five minutes they wake up withou any user input. Then they go to sleep again and stay there until any input is registered...

Ok internet is working (read above post), will report any more problems I have.
