Can i upgrade my heatsink?

Hi, i was thinking about Oc'ing my FX 8350 but i am running stock heatsink, I was thinking about getting a hyper 212 evo (any good?) But im not sure weather it will fit in my case, help please, This is my motherboard, Gigabyte GA-970A-DS3P, AMD 970 Chipset

So is there room?
Pc part picker says the heatsink is compatible with the board? thanks, Is there anybetter heatsinks for a OC?

Says max CPU cooler height 165mm, you'll have 6mm to spare with the 212 EVO (159mm). It will fit and your motherboard is capable of supporting it, your set. Enjoy and have fun overclocking!

The 212 EVO is a great CPU cooler, and a great price. It does fit your motherboard but that is not what my and your concern should be. I would be checking if your case does. Images don't help much, you should from socket to far edge of side of the case, then from either sides of the CPU before you hit something (not ram, the heatsink will clear those)

Of course there are better heatsinks, but they tend to be much bigger and much more expensive.

yes the heatsink does fit, http://www.anandtech.com/show/6515/corsair-carbide-200r-case-review-how-low-can-you-go/4 but will it block ram slots

you have low profile ram so it should clear it just fine. I'd also mount it so the fan pushes air out the back of your case (fan in front of heatsink). Just like this -

That is the best way to mount your cooler.
