So a few months ago, my ethernet port on my motherboard stopped working, but everything else is working 100%, so I ended up ordering a pci ethernet card. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIA24G1XA5134 is the product that I ordered. I installed it in both of my available PCI slots, and the led works when I try to plug my ethernet cord into it; however, I can never get connectivity, and my pc says that an ethernet cable is not plugged up. It doesn't show up in my network adapters either. Any thoughts?

So, I went into my bios and i disabled my integrated network adapter, that doesn't work. i.e. when i plug an ethernet cord into it, i no longer get an orange led light which is why i bought my new network adapter. When I troubleshoot my connectivity, it says that the drivers for my network adapters are not properly installed (which include the drivers for my net pci card), also the pci card does not show up in network adapters, and I don't know how to enable it.

I've already disabled the integrated one, but the one I installed myself doesn't even show up in the network adapters.
