I hadn't played a FPS since Doom 2 when I decided to give BF3 a shot. I saw that you could drive a tank and fly in a F/A-18 and really thought it would be fun. I don't care for "twitch" gaming so I have no interest in multiplayer, so it was all about the campaign for me. All i can say is that for $60, it was woefully short and a waste of money and I will never buy another EA game. The day I bought it, there was already a DLC pack available, which made it obvious that EA made the game, segmented it into several pieces and sold the largest piece first. Basically they took a game worth $60 and found a way to get well over $100 from people for it. I have not and will not ever buy the DLC for BF3 or any other game and avoid games designed that way.
