did i make a mistake? GIGABYTE 990FXA-UD3 with DDR3/2133MHz Dual Channel Memory

ordered this PC and the upgrade to 2133 memory was free but read somewhere after that its not supported by the motherboard. will it not work or will it just underclock the memory?

Solution
They will still work you will just have to set it up in the BIOS at 1866.

Only in rare cases , have people been able to run 2133 on that type of setup.


I ran 1866 with the 8350 on my Sabertooth builds.
