So... Hi. Currently writing from my mobo integrared GPU. iGPU is great to troubleshoot. Bad for gaming. =[ I really need my discrete GPU back.

Okay. Here goes.

My computer was working fiiine. Just fine. I was done with OCing for a little while now. Ended up at 4.4ghz for my 4770k and 1140/1520 for the R9 270X. I could play and stress test for a long while without getting any bsod, arctifacts or whatever else as far as problem goes. It was stable. Really don't think this could be the problem here. Temps for GPU (Clocked, not volted.) never exceeded 50. Not even 51. 50 Max.

One day, the computer went in sleep mode, shortly after a reinstall of windows. Maybe a few day after. The Whole system shut down at a certain point without me noticing.Since then, I've been unable to boot the computer with the GPU in. In fact, the GPU can stay in no problem, as long as I don't plug the first 6 pins connector.

It goes from :
6 pins not plugged : Boots fine and is as stable as ever. Only with no dGPU.
6 pins plugged : Won't boot. Won't post. No beeps. Fans turn for a quarter of a second, lights on for an eigth of a second. And then it's dead. I can unplug the GPU, do whatever I want, it won't work again unless I shut off the power supply and start it again. Then it goes back to : "Fine, unless you plug that 6 pins."

What I tried :
Trying another 6 pins for the modular PSU. Didn't work.
Back at stock clocks. Just... For fun. Of course it did not work.
Tried setting in the BIOS to boot on my iGPU while having my discreet GPU plugged in. Didn't work.
Tried it on someone else's computer on which it was also privously working. Same thing happened. I'm really thinking the GPU is dead at this point. Damnit. Who should I contact ? Bought this new off eBay 2 months ago ?

My build :
i7 4770K @ 4.4
Gigabyte R9 270X 4GB that's not working currently.
16GB Ram at 1800Mhz 10-11-10
Corsair HX 1000w PSU. I doubted this one for a while... But it all works fine else. My +3.3, +5 and +12 are a bit high, otherwise this seems good
What else ? Ah, Samsung 840 EVO 250gb, 3x WD 80gb in Raid 0 and 1x WD 500gb HDD But I doubt this matters.

Thanks for taking the time to read this.

EDIT : The more I read this, the more broken it seems. It is broken. Is it ?

EDIT #2 : At this point I know it's dead. What's weird is that it died while the computer was asleep. No power shortage or anything. The card is fairly recent. Who should I contact first ?

Bah, i'm having similar problems. I fear the worst. Was going to make a thread and ask if i should stick into an oven and try for a reflow as a last resort. I'll let you know if it works, but i'm guessing not likely :'(

What did you try to make it work ? And "how similar" is it ?
