4gb vs 8gb ram? how big is the difference?

How big of a difference is 4gb and 8gb in gaming? will if make much of a fps difference in the games? Does having 2gb Vram in my graphics card help?

The main games i play are dayz/arma, far cry 3/ 4 when it comes out, warface.
do i get a lot less fps in games with 4gb?
percentage difference?

You will need 8gb for max settings gaming. 4gb is for low settings/non-demanding gaming

Games are becoming more and more demanding so 8GB is almost a necessity, if you can you should go for 8-16GB.

16gb is not necessary at all. that's only if you're going to do hardcore video editing

I was only saying 16GB so that you could handle ANYTHING that comes at you in the future, for now though 8GB is good.
