The GPU needs an upgrade , a gtx 970 will do the deed.

The gpu is easily the weakest link. What's your upgrade budget?

A GTX 760 will fit within your budget and is much better than your current GPU. But the GTX 960 will launch soon, so wait for that to be released. It should be somewhere around £160 to £180.

The 9 stands for 900 series GPUs, which is the newest generation of Nvidia cards. The last two numbers represent the performance level, ranging from 10 being the lowest and 80 being high-end. In the 700 series lineup, the GTX 750 (both the vanilla and Ti variants) and the GTX 760 are considered mid-range. At this time, the GTX 970 and 980 are the only 900 series cards which have been released so far.
