Hey guys, I have had my computer for a while now and it has not done this until this morning. Last night, I left my computer to defrag over the night and shut off when done. I turn it on, let things load, launch Skyrim, and all of a sudden I see my mouse stuttering. It moves in a jerky motion, not smoothly like it did before. Can someone help me fix this? I have been researching non stop and cannot find a solution!

Usually when I see the mouse stutter, its a sign that someone has hijacked the PC. If its only during the game, it may be driver/game related, but if its all the time, you should scan with virus software at the least.

And yeah sorry, it's almost all the time. Let's say I open up chrome, the mouse lags/stutters a bit, or open up another program, it stutters a bit too.

Well, I would start with AVG Anti Virus. They have a free trial and even a free version that works great. Make sure to go into advanced options and check everything that will allow the deepest scan possible.

If it's a bluetooth mouse and you're using wifi, that could cause interference that would stutter your mouse.

^This is true. I stopped using wireless peripherals because of their inaccuracy and inability to hold a good connection.
