HI JACOB :D I'm very interested in what you said. What is an usb optical drive and how does it work? Does that mean that when i finish my pc build i plug that optical drive via usb and insert the disc of windows 8.1 it will automatically work?
I will probably buy physical games because i like the possibility to go to another place insert the disc and play the game instead of depending on internet.

If you're just wanting to download windows 8.1, I wouldn't mess around with a USB optical drive as sometimes they cannot get picked up as a bootable drive in the BIOS. Instead I reccomend putting the ISO file onto a USB stick. You can look here for that.

Oh! and you can buy a windows 8.1 professional key here. They're around 80% cheaper than other retailers and are perfectly legal(ignore other people ranting on about G2A been a scam, gosh.) The promocode "LIRIK" (without speachmarks) can be used to get a further 5% off :)
