I'm trying to quickly finalise my purchase before hitting order. I have to be quick because they are the only place that have any MSI Twin Frozr GTX 970 cards and they're low stock!

I'm looking for advice on whether the parts I've picked work well together, and suggestions for a good looking Mid tower case around £50-100 that will fit the parts, has decent case fans and 4 USB ports up front (at least 2 usb 3.0).

Here's what's in my basket:

  • CPU: i7 4790
    Mobo: ASUS H97-PLUS
GPU: MSI Twin Frozr GTX 970
    RAM: G.Skill Trident X 16GB 2133MHZ
    PSU: 750W EVGA SuperNOVA 750 B2
    HDD: WD 1TB Caviar Blue
    Case: Help!

No overclocking being done, and I already have a Samsung SSD to add to the above.

Here's what's on my Cases shortlist for a start point:

  • Fractal Design Define R4
    NZXT H230
    NZXT H440

I'd love a NZXT S340, but nowhere has them here until the end of the month and I can't wait!

Solution
I really like my design r4 case, no experience with the others

Parts look good. no compatibility issues. Make sure ram is dual channel, 2x8gb is 10-15% faster real world then 1x 16gb.

Thanks for the feedback. The RAM I go for will be dual channel so thanks for pointing that out.

On the case, I like the Fractal Define R4 practically but I'm struggling to get excited about the look of it. I don't want to get all this awesome hardware and put it in a box I don't love the look of. There aren't many I like though so that's what I get for being too choosy!
