how do we reflash CMOS when the system won't

do anyting?

no beep and nothing on screen

You cant if it doesnt work. Unless the mobo supports something like usb flashback

Altho it depends what the brand of the mobo is. On ASUS mobos you maybe able to use crashfree BIOS. If it supports it

Well you cant if it doesnt go.

And if the mobo doesnt support the CPU you installed you cant either. Unless you take it into a PC shop and ask them to do it. Or you'll have to buy a lower spec CPU and do it

Did someone just build these systems or what? Or what happened why they dont go now

the one goes through POST and throws a message 'can't find Partition Magic partition' (or something close to that)

and that's the one we want to reset bios on

the other one does nothing no beep no POST

systems are 4 or 5 years old and just started malfunctioning

The one that says this can't find Partition Magic partition reinstall windows. Resetting the bios wont fix it. Its missing something thats meant to be on the hdd
