Hi! I am about to (in several hours) purchase an MSI Z97-G45 Gaming Motherboard. I will place in it a Pentium G3258 :D until I upgrade it into a new i5...

ANYWAY

I previously purchased 8 gigabytes (4gb x 2) of G.Skill Ripjaws DDR3-1066 RAM for a gaming PC. Well, now I am upgrading my CPU and motherboard and I don't want to buy new RAM (at least for a few months, then I might jump to 16 gigs of DDR3-1600), because my grandfather is buying the motherboard for me. I already have all the pieces for the build (except for mobo & cpu) and I don't make money very fast - I'm just a teenager :). Once I buy the CPU, I won't have any more for a while. But, before I set my build on the shelf, I would like to confirm at least 94.99% (that's enough confirmation, right? lol) that this ram will work. The only reason I say this is that the RAM isn't listed in the compatible RAM section of MSI's website, although several G.Skill ram models are listed and several other DDR3-1066 models are listed (that aren't G.Skill).

If anyone who is using this motherboard w/ this ram or is absolutely sure that it will work please answer before I go crazy. :)

Sorry about being un-business like,
Thanks!

Solution
It should be fine. There are too many RAM modules for a company to test all of them on their motherboards but it should be fine.

Ok, I'm kinda finicky about this because the last time I bought widely supported RAM that shoud've been compatible with the motherboard it didn't work - and then I couldn't RMA (my fault though). I don't want to have another experience like that :] although it wasn't a very good board (older gigabyte board) with known problems
