RAM Help 8Gb

Ok so I just built my gaming rig and I installed 8gb of ram (DDR4) and it says that only 4.1GBs is available.
Mobo: http://www.microcenter.com/product/437350/X99_Deluxe_LGA_2011-3_ATX_Intel_Motherboard

RAM: 8gb two sticks of crucial memory

cpu: http://www.microcenter.com/product/437203/Core_i7-5820k_33_GHz_LGA_2011_V3_Tray_Processor

Do you have the latest BIOS? Are the sticks in the suggested slots for dual channel? Are the sticks fully seated in their slots? Have you checked the sticks individually w/ Memtest, might have a bad one..

ok just found this out, so my cpu is a six core cpu but only two core are registering. Have any ideas
