I have been very confused and flustered with whats been happening.
My internet has changed for the worse.
I can't ping websites or traceroute (first hop shows router ip, the rest time out)
I get 100% packet loss
I can access those websites normally.
I can't access game servers (league of legends, teamspeak, starcraft, xboxlive)
I have tried many solutions,
-ipreleaserenew
-flushwinsock
-disablefirewall
-resetting router

AS WELL, I have similar issues on other computers using the same network

Please help

Not all devices will reply to pings(4 of 20 hops on the way from me to tomshardware time out). It would stand to reason that some would just time out, but you seem to have LOTS more that average.

If you have issues with other systems on the same network, it may be an ISP issue. You may need to get in contact with them for this one.

When you reset the router do you also reset your modem for the internet?

Are all of these computers on wireless? I'm just guessing and probably way off but do you have wireless isolation enabled? Also have you tried checking to see if this is a common problem with your brand router? Have you tried looking for a firmware update?

Yes I do reset the modem for the internet.

I believe all of them are wireless.
How do I check if wireless isolation is enabled?

Another note, the internet was perfectly fine a day before, everything was working, and then in the morning it suddenly changed.

How do you check? Well that's going to depend on your version of router since they are all different. You will need to check your owners manual or look through the settings.

Alright okay.
Another question, when I call my ISP, what should I ask for?

I would just let the ISP know things are not working right.

Now you can try something before you call them.

To rule out a wireless issue, you can try to ping your router non stop with ping xxx.xxx.x.x -t. replace the X's with your routers ip. With the -t it will ping forever. this will allow you to ensure things are working on your end. Control + C will stop it and display the normal information.

With that sorted(if you have no loss), Please try to connect a computer directly to the modem(disconnect the router). This connection will have to be wired, but it will allow further testing while removing your other hardware from the equation.

If you are getting this issue directly connected to the modem, try another system if you can to confirm. At this point the ISP will have to be called and come and check the signal or maybe even replace the modem itself(if you rent the hardware from them).

Perhaps the firewall on the router has been configured to block pings, traceroutes, and the ports used by games servers? Or perhaps your ISP has decided to block them at their end.

I have pinged my own router, and there is 0% loss, I will check and see if it works if i connect directly into the modem.
