CPU is between this and a cheap i5-4430. IDK which to get for GAMING. This build is for gaming and gaming alone.
MOBO because it's unlocked and looks nice with the black/red theme I have going on.
Video card r9 280 is what fits in my price range with the best FPS.
CASE because IT IS SEXY and smaller than a mid tower. Little more expensive but this is my first build and I don't want to go 30 dollars cheaper for something less than what I want.
PSU because I believe this one is a good quality one. I think.
I know nothing of wireless adapters so any help will be appreciated there too.
Monitor because it's huge for the cheapest price.

Any suggestions on changes? especially another CPU for gaming?

My budget is under 900 ALL together.

I would personally go for Z97 chipset since it'll support Devil's Canyon CPUs natively.

You're also gonna have to overclock your CPU to at least 4.5 to reduce the bottleneck it's going to bring the R9 280.

Other than than, everything looks great!

Assuming that you live in the United States, you can get this RAM kit too [link]. It's faster at a lower price.

I've edited the Motherboard and RAM.
I've also edited the PSU
Also got you a different case.
I've also put a CPU cooler. You need to overclock your CPU if you don't want that CPU Bottlenecking the GPU, so that's why I did that.

i prefer Asrock H97 Pro4 ! $15 more

Here's one with an i3. The G3258 just really won't cut it with a 280. If you were going for a 270/x then yes, otherwise stick with the i3 as a minimum.
Also put in a cheaper PSU, same quality but less wattage. You'd be good with a 450W unit anyway.

Tried to keep as much of your aesthetic parts the same.
