One of my friends told me that it is bad to have to many things connected to your usb ports at once as it overcrowds the bus or some shit like that. Is this true btw i have a keyboard, mouse, headphones (power only),xbox 360 wireless controller receiver and a wired xbox 360 controller. Is that to much.

No, its fine, as long as you've connected them to different USB ports, its all good. Even if you use a hub to connect them to single port, nothing will use so much bandwidth, from the total available, to compromise other's performance.

All of those are low power devices, so there shouldn't be a bottleneck, however, this is assuming that you plug all of these devices directly into your motherboard and not through a USB hub.
