Problem Uploading 5 Nights at Freddys to Youtube / Blocky / Pixelated

In the game as you will see in the link below, You will see at the beginning there is like static on the screen in game basically immitating a bad security camera... Well when this happens on screen AFTER UPLOADED TO YOUTUBE (does NOT do this in the raw file, nor in the rendered version from sony vegas, only on the youtube uploaded version) Well when the static effect is on screen, it makes my facecam go "blocky/pixelated", but as soon as the static goes away, the facecam is clear again.. I would like to know whats going on.

YOU WILL SEE WHAT I MEAN IN THIS VIDEO, AS SOON AS THE INTRO ENDS

Solution
Youtube uses 5000 kbps video bitrate, 384 kbps for stereo audio for 720p. If you understand how video works, higher levels of action, that is the more dynamic change in pixel color per frame like the static, requires a higher bitrate and that section gets blocky because it isn't able to get the bitrate it needs and gets compression artifacting. There are multiple ways you can compress video which affect the bitrate without resorting to blocking.

Could you give a screenshot of your render settings? What is the size and length of the video?

when you view the video I linked on your pc... from the time between like 7 seconds - 19 seconds... does the face look rlly blocky?

Ok what should the bitrate be? My video file after rendered is, 8593kbps. Data speed is 8401kbps. BUT, WHEN U VIEW THE VIDEO, DOES IT SHOW THEY BLOCKYNESS ON MY FACE ON YOUR END TOO? Im trying to figure out if its just my system.

Solution
Staticky noise is the worst case scenario for any data compression system.
Youtube's recompression might be bad and you might actually try reducing the bit rate to about 5 Kbps per uploading to see if it is better or worse.

Are 2D games making a comeback?

bro Honestly, you just answered the entire thread... what you just said makes so much sense!! I get bitrates and all that but I didnt know that the games static feature on the main menu would cause the bitrate to go out of wack.

I also did some research and even top youtubers who play this game have the exact same problem with this game, such as Markiplier, so really I dont even care anymore because its just how it is with this game I guess lol
