As above. Extremely weird. Put in new hard drive, put on chosen os and disable all safety like option in bios.

Runs perfectly, until I press shutdown and boot it up again. when I do boot up it comes up with "all boot iterations have been tried press f4 for recovery....."

Put in the original hard drive and all is fine.

Anyone had this? Any ideas?

Thanks,
James O.

Thanks, but I have played with all different variations of these options.

I noticed that there is an Intel anti theft option on the laptop bios. Tried disabling after the Hard drive was swapped with no success. Does anyone know if this can do that, and if so does it need to be disabled with the old hard drive in, and then swap the hard drives?

These samsung Series 5 laptops seem to be plagued with issues.

Hmmm seems that it was putting the system reserved files on the USB Stick! crazy thing. I will try again And create two partitions on the drive and see if that sorts it!
