Hello,

I am looking for a Dongle which satisfies following requirements

1. Must be able to create WiFi Hotspot to connect 5-10 devices. Must be able to create WiFi Hotspot using a power adapter without the need of PC.

2. Must contain SD card with support upto 32GB. - I want to access SD Card over WiFi without having to plug it to PC. I am using iPad and I want the dongle to act as extra storage. I want to access contents in SD card as a Network Attached Storage so that I can easily transfer files to and from the SD card over WiFi without having to connect it to PC's USB port.
I must be able to share files on SD card to all those who are connected to the dongle hotspot

3. It must support 3G with speeds between 14Mbps and 21Mbps. It must not be a carrier locked device.

I am eagerly searching for such device to use as additional storage space for my Apple iPad.

Kindly suggest a device.

Thank you

It takes quite a bit of processor power to be able to support the software that allows you to create a network share out of a memory card. I would suspect there maybe a small mobile broadband router that can do this but this technology changes so fast I can never keep up with it.

I do know many of the better asus and tplink routers support usb based 3g/4g dongles. These are full blown routers that have the disk sharing and even more and since they are USB based there is no carrier restriction. You still need to be somewhat careful some carriers intentionally prevent their USB dongle from working with these routers so you need to check the list of supported devices.
