How much money can I get for XPS 8100?

Hard to say, best way is too look up online and see what they are going for used.

I saw a few that were $300-350 on local classifieds.

The specs are not all the same for the XPS 8100, but the selling principal remains the same. It's old, has no warranty, is used and when buying used people are always looking for a deal. $250-300 would get you a fast sell and if you had the time to keep in online a few months maybe someone would pay $350-450 for it.

Reinstalling with a genuine windows 7 is a nice advantage since people will see that as $100 value. You'd need to know your actual specs when selling it though.
