Hi,

Just wondering if there is a way to do so, given that I have a modem, and there are multiple ethernet slots available on the computer, as well as antennas.

I know there are some great free open source router system out there, like pfsense, but I do not know if I can run the server in the same box at the same time.

I have set up Windows Server 2003 and Server 2008 operating systems as routers before, and they were also acting as servers. You just need two Ethernet cards/ports on the server, feed the modem into one (the input), then feed the other Ethernet port (the output) into a switch feeding all the other devices. That makes the server the bottleneck of the network with regards to the Internet, and you can run Routing on the server (it used to be called Routing and Remote Access Server, RRAS).
