GS700, as in Corsair GS700? If so, you have a good PSU, it will run an GTX980 SLI setup if it's fairly new, under one year old (GTX980: 165W TDP, maybe 200W max. when OC; R9-290: max. 275W estimated TDP, but its peak consumption goes over 330W, as various sites reported, Tom's included).

However, if you also want to overclock (CPU + GPU), go for a good 800-850W PSU:

That depends. Are you happy with the gaming experience/playability of the 290 for your setup? Do you frequently have to reduce eye candy?

The 290 should be able to deliver the goods at 1080p. However, if you are thinking that it's time a change - and you have the spare cash - you might want to consider two GTX 970's (sli), but ONLY if they are warranted for YOUR system (you should take into account future changes e.g. gaming resolution). This is widely considered a 'better choice' (Google 970 sli) than a single GTX 980 --> at >1080p resolutions!!

Hello,

You could use the actual PSU, as the GTX980 consumes less power than the 290 (if you have of course a good 750W PSU, Seasonic, XFX or the like).
