hi am john here,
I have my external harddisk if i port to my laptop some clk clk sound is heard and it is not detected in my laptop when it is plugin please help with a good solution to repair my hard disk..

Its probably dead. Send it for data recovery if it has any important/valuable data that you want to recover.

Hi there john reinhaird,

I would suggest you to check out whether your USB cable is causing this issue through simply attaching the drive with another one to a different USB port.
If this does not help, I guess your HDD is most probably dead. In case you need the data on it you should contact a data recovery company.
